To Hot for a Slug!

Too hot!

Its too hot for Scottie Slug

Today,

He’d be worried, that he

Would sizzle in the

Scorching summer sun.

So Scottie Slug

Stayed in a soothing puddle

of water instead.

My leafy lettuces were safe,

at least for now.
