Our Cocky resides in Queen's Park,
in the penthouse. Not in the local zoo.
Our Cocky is a bit of a celebrity,
everyone in Ipswich knows Our Cocky.
Our Cocky is the keeper at our Cafe,
at the door Cocky is there to meet ‘n’ greet
so make sure you stop to say G’day
or beware of Our Cocky’s protest squawk!
Our Cocky even marks our postcards,
Ipswich fame was not enough,
He demands he spread his wings,
much further a field.
Our Cocky would love to meet you,
next time you visit our proud city.
Drop in and say G’day to Our Cocky,
while you enjoy your cup of coffee.
